Villa have been nominated in the prestigious M&IT Awards.

The club are finalists in the category of 'Best UK Unusual Venue'.

The competition includes Alton Towers, Battersea Evolution, The Gherkin and The Monastery Manchester.

Organised by Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine, the awards event brings together the various sectors of the business to measure market reaction in rewarding excellence of service and product.The ceremony, which will be attended by over 700 industry professionals, takes place on Tuesday March 19 at Battersea Evolution.

The glittering, glamorous, black-tie occasion will be hosted by BBC TV presenter Kate Silverton.

The awards for gold, silver and bronze will be announced and presented on stage to the winners.

The M&IT Awards are the oldest established awards programme in the meetings industry.
