Treat your loved one to a night of fine dining in the VMF Restaurant on one of our special Valentines evenings.
Our award-winning chefs will be adding a touch of romance to the menu, and all ladies will receive a rose.

To Begin

Scallop ravioli
With a lobster and caviar cream

Slow cooked duck egg, Poxton’s black pudding
Served with smoked bacon, oven dried tomatoes, pea shoot salad

Ham hock and fois gras terrine
With parsnip puree, micro coriander

Selection of local mushrooms, and Little Urn risotto (v)
Lightwood’s Little Urn which is similar to Italian Pecorino served with spring onions


Main Course
Slow cooked blade of beef and seared rump
With parsnip pomme puree, roast winter vegetables and thyme infusion

Fillet of black sea bream
Served with ginger, soy and coriander stir-fry and a lemon grass butter sauce

Crispy Yield field Farm pork belly
With apple sauce, black pudding, celeriac puree with calvados and marjoram jus

Pot roasted chicken breast with confit leg
Sautéed wild mushrooms, crispy bacon Savoy cabbage and truffle sauce

Braised lentils, with leeks and haricot beans
Served with free range poached egg and Broad heath Gold goats cheese cream

Desserts

Apple and cinnamon crumble with creamy custard

Valrhona chocolate fondant, vanilla pod ice cream with honeycomb

Creamed Vanilla rice pudding with passion fruit sorbet

Orange crème brulee, poached oranges, homemade shortbread biscuit
